In the Jungian Odyssey Series, Spring Journal Books publishes annually a book composed of the papers delivered at the Jungian Odyssey, an English-language retreat presented by the International School of Analytical Psychology in Zurich (ISAPZURICH). Taking place each year in a different region of Switzerland, ISAPZURICH opens its post-graduate program to all with interest in CG Jung & Analytical Psychology. The program affords immersion in landscapes that influenced Jung's sense of psyche. Each Odyssey is based upon a different theme that arises from the genius loci, the spirit of the place where the conference convenes. Presenters deal with traditional Jungian areas of interest—myth, fairy tale, art, religion, dream—connecting these with contemporary research, clinical practice, personal and collective experience in the context of the specific conference theme. The presenters/authors are Jungian training analysts and faculty members at ISAPZURICH, joined by guest scholars.
