Dr. Michael Escamilla is a psychiatrist, scientist and Jungian analyst, currently living in El Paso, Texas. He completed his B.A. at Harvard University, his M.D. at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School, his post-doctorate work (in psychiatry and psychiatric genetics) at the University of California, San Francisco, and his Jungian training at the C.G. Jung Institute of Zurich (Küsnacht). He is Professor and Founding Chair of Psychiatry and Director of the Center of Excellence in Neuro­sciences at the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in El Paso, and the author of papers published in a variety of professional journals.
